I STAY AWAY by Alice In Chains Tab by Jill Valentine
I tabbed this out on a normal acoustic using standard tuning (but it also sounds great
down 1/2 step) The other tabs for this song were kinda weird sounding. This is pretty
accurate

Yeah hey yeah want to travel south this year
I wo- -ont won't prevent safe passage here
This part sounds kinda wierd acoustically, but this is the closest I could come

E]-------------------3p0-3b
Why you act crazy
Not an act maybe
So close a lady
Shif- -ty eyes shady
After this, you repeat the intro , then you do the next verse, identical to the first,
but the first part is done only once
Hey, yeah tears that soak a careless heart
Then the second part of the verse is done to these lyrics
Why you act frightened
I am enlightened
Your weakness builds me
So someday you'll see
Then the big powerful sounding chorus. Play it this way. but listen to the song for the
rhythm

I stay away
I'm not exactly sure on the solo, but the rest is there. If you have the solo,
would appreciate it
